Christine from PPA Education is working closely in partnership with a ‘good’ nursery in Redbridge to help recruit for passionate Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurses to work with children from 16 months to 5 years. I have been to the nursery to meet with the manager and the staff team. The nursery caters for children from 3 months to 5 years and is able to hold over 100 children in the setting. The nursery has increased there occupancy and are now looking to take on new members of staff to help cover ratio’s in the rooms. The setting itself is set in beautiful, spacious surroundings which allows the children to benefit from a fantastic outdoor environment. The nursery has four gardens that are designed to meet all of the children’s needs, meaning that all children can play outdoors with age appropriate equipment.  The gardens are also designed not only to support the children’s physical development but also to promote the children’s learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.  This means providing the children with a wide range of activities to promote children’s natural desire to explore and investigate. The nursery is within easy walking distance of a station and is on the central line. The nursery also has a large car park, so if you drive you will be able to park your car free of charge. The nursery is open from 7.30am until 6.30pm, 52 weeks of the year (closed for Bank Holidays). So you will be working on a weekly rotating shift pattern. For example; 7:30am until 4pm Or 10-6:30pm. You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Have experience of working with children within an Early Years setting.
