| Job Information | ICT teacher needed for a PRU based in Eltham from September 2012 A specialist education service that provides full-time and part-time education for up to 34 boys and girls aged between 11 and 16 years of age are seeking to appoint an ICT teacher (3 days per week) from September 2012. The school opened in 2008 as a referral project but is now registered as an independent special school. The school are located in the Eltham area and admits students who have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, some of whom are excluded either permanently or for a fixed term from their mainstream schools. Currently, there are 27 full- and part-time students on roll aged between 12 and 16 years, none of whom has a statement of special educational needs. For some, their time at the school is very short, while others stay for longer according to their needs. Students are funded either on an individual placement basis or through service-level agreements with local schools and education authorities. PPA Education is an independent, friendly recruitment agency, and we supply to schools in the Greater London area. Due to an increasing demand we are seeking qualified secondary teachers to work on supply basis, for day to day work or short term blocks, as well as long term assignments. We are looking to employ teachers with strong experience working in various types of schools. The ideal candidate will have had relevant experience working with children of all abilities. It is expected that anyone applying for these roles have solid working experience of the UK curriculum.
