PPA Education is working in close proximity with a larger-than-average culturally diverse primary school based in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The school is looking for a Year 4 teacher to join their team, initially on a contract basis, from September but there is the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Pupils achieve well due to the quality of teaching and the curriculum captures pupils’ enthusiasm and interest. Pupils treat each other with respect and willingly accept responsibility for their actions. Behaviour at the school is excellent and children and staff enjoy being part of the school community.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher, preferably with experience of teaching Year 4. All candidates must hold a relevant teaching qualification and have solid experience working with the UK curriculum.

Science Teacher – September 2012

I am seeking a Science teacher for a large Secondary School based in Haringey, North London. This is a full-time position for a teacher trained in Science. This is a long-term post starting in September 2012 and would only be suitable for a Science teacher who is able to commit to at least 1 term, although there is a possibility the position may extend beyond this.
This position is suitable for overseas trained teachers providing you are a confident practitioner with UK experience and an excellent knowledge of the UK Secondary Science Curriculum.

About the school

This is an ‘outstanding’ school which caters for children aged 11-16 years old, and holds the Investors in People accreditation. There is a real sense of community at the school with everyone working successfully together to improve academically and personally. Reception Teacher – Required September 2012

I am seeking a qualified and experienced reception teacher for an average sized primary school based in Tower Hamlets, East London. This is a full-time position for a teacher trained in EYFS with knowledge of the Foundation Stage Profile. This is a long-term post starting in September 2012 and would only be suitable for a reception teacher who is able to commit for a minimum of 1 term.

About the school

A fifth of the children speak English as an additional language and come from ethnic minority backgrounds, the largest being Black African so knowledge of EAL would be advantageous. The school offers a good level of education for all pupils and has received awards for promoting basic skills and physical education. They have partnerships with local schools to promote community cohesion. Children are well behaved, enjoy going to school and find their lessons interactive and fun. Standards are above average and pupils have an outstanding understanding of how to live healthily. The staff at the school are very supportive and go above and beyond to ensure that even daily supply teachers have an enjoyable experience at the school. The role would suit an experienced teacher with a background teaching reception and at least 6 months’ experience of working within UK schools.

SEN teacher needed for a SEN school based in the Richmond borough

A lovely SEN school based in the Richmond borough are seeking to appoint an experienced SEN, with preferably a background in Science. This role is due to start in September 2012, but for the right candidate may start sooner. The school provides for pupils with moderate learning difficulties, many of whom have additional complex needs. There are a few pupils with physical disabilities. All the pupils have a statement of special educational needs. The school also manages an off-site provision for pupils, aged seven to 11 years of age, with behavioural, emotional and social needs, and a 20-place unit for pupils aged 11 to 16 years who have autistic spectrum disorders.
